Job DescriptionThe Batch Mixer Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper batching of formulas according to specified work orders. This position requires expertise in blending, batching, and quality control processes within the chemical industry.Responsibilities
  • Follow batching procedures in accordance with the work order.
  • Perform batching of formulas by following prescribed proportions and sequencing of blends.
  • Submit samples to the lab for Quality Control release once the batch is properly blended.
  • Modify batches as directed by chemists if formulas do not meet Quality Control standards and resubmit samples.
  • Mark tanks with appropriate product identification in accordance with HAZMAT labeling requirements once formulas are approved.
  • Transfer products using properly coded transfer hoses to hold tanks, totes, or drums, and apply proper product identification labeling to all related containers.
  • Flush batch tanks according to proper procedure, verify pH is neutral, and cap tanks.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as a batching lead within the chemical industry.
  • Proficiency in batching, batch mixing, chemical blending, and compounding.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes.
  • Experience as a lead or supervisor in batching within the chemical industry.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
