- Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences: Create engaging, memorable experiences by recognizing and reacting to guests’ needs, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Lead and Develop Your Team: Thoroughly and consistently train, support, and inspire deli kitchen associates to ensure high retention and top performance, providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Ensure High-Quality Standards: Monitor recipe execution, shrinkage, and overall quality control to maintain the highest standards in food preparation and presentation.
- Oversee Deli Operations: Manage inventory, order deli kitchen products from vendors, and ensure proper food rotation, temperature management, and replenishment of all products on display.
- Collaborate and Encourage Teamwork: Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment by leading by example, encouraging cooperation among staff, and working closely with store and Support Office associates.
- Drive Production Decisions: Analyze weekly movement reports and make informed decisions on production levels to meet guest demand without overstocking or waste.
- Ensure Department Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment, including work areas, shelving, and sales floor, to comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.
- Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of leadership experience, with 1 year in a management role in retail grocery, restaurant, fast food, or food service.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control, food safety, and inventory management.
- Safety Awareness: Full understanding of safety requirements and ability to apply on-the-job safety training.
- Stand in one spot for a long period of time, bend stoop, and kneel regularly.
- Full range of upper body motion.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures.
- Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
