- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to support manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Mentor apprentices and less experienced electricians as needed.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in Alabama or reciprocating state.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, motors, PLCs, and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA and company policies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage, and automation systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
