As a Dialysis PCT, you'll be a vital part of the care team, providing hands-on support to patients during one of the most critical aspects of their treatment. Your empathy, attention to detail, and teamwork will help ensure safe, comfortable, and effective dialysis sessions.What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with pre- and post-dialysis assessments and documentation.
- Monitor and record treatment parameters using Dialysis Flow Sheets.
- Alert supervisors to any changes in patient condition.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate CPR when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a hemodialysis training course; state-required certification where applicable.
- CPR certification.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related setting is preferred, but not required.
- Background in physical sciences or lab techniques is a plus.
