DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented individual who would like to be part of an organization driving hyper-growth and helping existing AWS customers operate on AWS and innovate on our platform. Do you have the business savvy to work with a cross-functional team that includes specialists, solution architects, and product and partner teams to deliver business growth for AWS and our Fintech customers? AWS is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Representative to lead and expand the business with our existing customer base. The Enterprise Sales Representative is responsible for creating and executing the account strategy and leading the extended team so the customer achieves its growth targets, thereby AWS achieving increased levels of revenue and service growth. It is critical that the Enterprise Sales Representative has an extensive track record of building and nurturing senior level relationships with complex customers, has a hands-on approach to developing new opportunities, public cloud technical acumen, and has led a large team of extended resources.Key job responsibilities
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
  • Team with key stakeholders across customer's organization. This includes C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales
  • Collaborate with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests, and understand how to strongly advocate for customer and balance that with AWS business needs
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts at the most senior level (C-level)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Expect moderate travel

- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- BA/BS degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of quota-carrying technology field sales or business development experience
- 5+ years of experience with identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects with enterprise accounts
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations
- 5+ years of experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role
- A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
- Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV)

The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
