POSITION SUMMARY:The Upholstery Assembler position is responsible for putting the vinyl covers and or carpet on the production and warranty components and securing them in place.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Installs components on to sub-straights using various stretching, pulling and shaping techniques
  • Completes work and inspects finished product for quality.
  • Performs various manual assembly operations such as: trimming, hinge installation, and foam gluing.
  • Identifies components for each task.
  • Operates and performs daily cleaning and maintenance on various assembly machines such as: snap, hydem machine, screw guns, drills and staple guns.
  • Identifies direction of nap of carpet.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Ability for rapid mental and muscular Depth perception and distance
  • Coordination simultaneously
  • Quality minded
