Job Overview:We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform standardized qualitative and quantitative tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.Shift & Schedule: 3rd Shift | Monday-Friday (Saturdays as needed for overtime) from 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM. Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.Key Responsibilities:Perform laboratory testing on ingredients and finished products to verify compliance with company specificationsConduct QA audits throughout the production facility; basic knowledge of production lines requiredRecord and input audit and inspection results into reports and computer systemsCalibrate and operate equipment such as:RefractometerpH MeterAuto TitratorDensity MeterSpectrophotometerUnderstand CIP and product run rule processesSupport product and vendor hold proceduresClean laboratory and testing equipmentHandle and inspect packaging components (e.g., caps, labels, PET bottles, glass)Collect, record, and store retained product samplesSubmit samples for in-house microbiological testingAssist with QA projects and support as neededPerform other duties as assigned
Total Rewards:Compensation:
  • Pay starting at $24.80 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $26.12 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field preferred1-3 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment preferredProficiency in math and computer applications (Word, Excel, etc.)Strong written and verbal communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand/walk for extended periodsAbility to climb stairsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to operate lab equipment and computersAbility to gather, lift, and transport samples to labs
