- Utilize research to inform and shape solutions.
- Translate research findings into design concepts and user experience flows through wireframing and sketching and then into higher fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Work closely with product management and engineering teams to facilitate brainstorming, mapping and prototyping sessions.
- Deliver polished comps, flows, and assets across all platforms to engineering for implementation.
- Manage Life.Church digital brand standards, style guides, and other applicable brand components.
- Present new design concepts and solutions to Product Management teams and stakeholders.
- Gather and test user feedback on new concepts.
- Ensure feedback has been validated and then implemented with proper design consideration.
- Provide relevant data along with concepts to help support decision-making.
- Continual learning of new tools, skills, and techniques to keep up with the innovation of the platforms and industry.
- Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and find innovative solutions.
- Outstanding listening skills and the ability to take what was learned and create a vision to execute effectively.
- Must exemplify a high level of user focus.
- Ability to conduct and analyze user research and translate into applicable insights.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to initiate the creative and critical thinking processes for oneself and the team.
- Knowledge of the technical constraints of web and mobile development to inform and innovate design solutions.
- Proficiency in current and relevant design, testing, and prototyping tools.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ years in human interaction design, psychology, visual design, UX/UI design, or equivalent.
- Portfolio of outstanding work.
