- Provide configuration and data management during all phases of the program: requirements, design, build, test, and maintenance and operations.
- Manage the configuration items for the program, including hardware and software CIs, you will help maintain and improve a CM process that includes CABs and CCBs, and be responsible for configuration control of all program documentation.
- Manage our software baseline for our inventory management software, run our PI planning events and associated sprints, manage the software requirements and software release process, and be responsible for establishing a software working group that includes stakeholders across the program.
- Establish and manage shared folders, SharePoint libraries, Teams folders, maintain configuration control of all documents, ensure CDRLs and work products are tracked and delivered on time.
- Responsible for scheduling configuration control boards and change advisory boards, working with IPT members to ensure entrance criteria is met, recording decisions and action items, and monitoring packages to acceptance and closure.
- Create and maintain parts lists and inventory lists, establish configuration items for the system, and develop configuration management plans as needed.
- Responsible for continued development of our program collaboration space using Confluence and a ticketing system in Jira for the management of our work products and tasks.
- Establish Agile Boards and be responsible for keeping the information and data current.
- Run configuration audits and produce status accounting audits.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with DoD configuration management policies and processes.
- Experience with configuration management for a major weapon system.
- Ability to develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
- Capability to develop solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to travel when needed by the program.
- Knowledge of Confluence and Jira.
- Experience using agile methodologies.
