Location: Correctional Facility in Susanville, California
Pay Rate: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 6 to 9 month contract with potential for extensionAvailable Shifts:
- Monday through Friday, 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM
- Friday through Tuesday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Twelve continuous months of recent experience within the last three years providing direct patient care in a public or private facility
- Up-to-date clinical competencies
- Valid photo ID such as a drivers license or passport
- Current California-issued Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clients
- Collaborate with service coordinators to develop individualized service plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Notify physicians promptly of incidents, condition changes, or the need for treatment adjustments
- Communicate clearly with staff and assist them in all aspects of care delivery
- Serve as a liaison between the physician, client, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete incident reports, medication error logs, and drug reaction documentation in a timely and accurate manner
