.Duties and Responsibilities:
- CAPA Status (Internal/Customer/Supplier)
- Assist in planning and designing of the software portion of any roadmaps created for the Quality Organization
- Ensure change management compliance standards are followed
- Able to review customer software requirements and ensure processes support the ability to meet those expectations
- Apply knowledge of DO178 and ability to apply it appropriately to our products
- Apply knowledge of AS9100/AS9115 and support compliance to each
- Support the System Test group as a software tester when necessary
- Support Agile development methodologies as needed
- Apply knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools, and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets the needs of client/business partners
- Lead in certification events as needed
- Provide guidance on software quality practices and audits to product development or operations teams within the division as well as to clients
- Provide support in preparation and presentation of technical material for Safran Passenger Innovations and customers
- Prepare reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, and status
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience in a related field
- 7+ years of experience working in a system engineering or software quality capacity
- Ability to support software integration, as well as system and acceptance testing
- Must be familiar with Software Development Life Cycle
- Able to put together a software test plan
- Experienced in working from airline features and airline hardware configurations to set up rack configurations
