- Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the Quality department and work towards those goals.
- Supervise and mentor the Incoming and Final Product Inspectors daily to meet functional deliverables and responsibilities.
- Provide training and/or technical guidance to Incoming and Final Product Inspectors and production staff
- Manage WIP MRB including reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory
- Drive and participate in Product quality projects.
- Facilitate problem solving, root cause analysis, and other continuous improvement initiatives on product quality issues
- Facilitate defect awareness to sensitize operators to quality issues
- Lead investigation and drive closure of non-conforming material (NCs) for sub-assemblies, assemblies and finished goods in a timely manner
- Collect in-process defect data, lead analysis of such data and work closely with manufacturing to improve; take any actions regarding in-process quality as specified by the quality systems
- Monitor and analyze data related to quality control processes, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement
- ERP Quality Management System Module Super User
- Support the daily manufacturing activities and work with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve line issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across multiple departments
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products or services, ensuring that quality processes are integrated into the development process
- Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- BS required (MS preferred) in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years’ experience in Manufacturing.
- Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operating within them to ensure that a product conforms to its specifications
- Demonstrated ability to drive conclusions based on deviations and defects; drive improvement and corrections to process
- Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze written technical information
- Demonstrated analytical, process management skills
- Proven understanding of problem-solving tools including root cause analysis and statistical process control principles.
- Domestic travel required <5%

- Manufacturing, Engineering, or Technical Degree
- Technical knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing and assembly processes
- Product Quality experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications
