Manufacturing Technician / Laser Operator

- Operate automatic laser welding equipment
- Follow ISO 13485 procedures, as well as company safety and process requirements
- Follow project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures to yield product that conforms to quality workmanship standards and established production standards
- Position and clamp together components of fabricated product for welding preparation
- Clean and perform after process weld finishing services
- Assist with analytical testing, ranging from visual inspection to utilizing tensile testing and microscopic inspection equipment
- Safely operate common manufacturing tools and equipment
- Effectively interface with team members for component and equipment resources
- Ability to read project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures
- Quality/detail oriented with the ability to achieve repeatable results
- Excellent hand-eye coordination with the ability to work with and handle very small instruments and components
- Strong appreciation for time management, priorities, and deadlines
- Must have good vision and dexterity
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and sit throughout the day for extended periods of time
- High School degree preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with the operation of common manufacturing tools and equipment
- Previous laser welding and/or metallurgy experience is a plus
