- Participates and may lead development teams to build best in class software for the parking industry with little or no supervision. Consistently maintains success during their participation in all aspects of product development.
- Ensures that projects are conducted in ways that benefit the project objectives, the people participating in the project, and T2 Systems long-term interests.
- Provides estimates for designs specifications, and is accountable for these estimates with the goal of improving the accuracy of estimates.
- Interacts with customers to gather information, provide education, give status updates, and communicate relevant project-related activities.
- Provides recommendations on architecture direction, product direction, and developments tools.
- Works closely with other departments to write design documents that will solve business problems that our customers have.
- Participates in design, code, and product reviews.
- Proposes design approaches for review and agreement from peers or supervisor.
- Produces quality tested product enhancements to T2’s software products.
- Ensures competency in all code-centered, detailed-design centered, and task-centered areas is current and demonstrates additional competencies.
- Completes WI (Bugs) in T2’s software products.
- Consistently renders clear technical judgment and routinely considers architecture-level and project planning issues.
- Works closely with other departments to gather and process change requests requirements.
- Works with Product Support to provide development support to customers’ issues.
- Consistently demonstrates innovation, imagination, and contributes beyond the assigned tasks.
- Consistently ensures accountability for their project(s) quality and on-time delivery.
- Mentors other developers and promotes sound technical skills.
- Maintains commitment to continue self-study programs and reads books and journals to maintain or increase technical abilities.

- This position will act as a team lead on various projects. This position works with and ensures that other developers are producing quality code and provides leadership. This position has the authority to determine the corrective action needed to achieve desired outcomes. A senior developer should consistently enable other people to do their jobs better.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 5 years or more development experience.
- Has a mastery of Visual Studio and other development tools used at T2 Systems. This mastery should extend into architecture, user interface design, project planning, and other project-level issues.
- Knowledge of T2’s software products, services, and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
- Knowledge of the parking industry is preferred.

- Expert knowledge of Visual Studio with a special emphasis on C#.
- Expert knowledge of the .NET Framework.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.

- Ability to recommend advanced architectural designs.
- Ability to work with other members of the development team to provide advice and technical guidance on issues.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- Ability to work with project team members to keep projects on track.

- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints for customers and staff.
- Ability to write presentation, articles, routine reports, proposals, and correspondence.
