As a tenured firm in the industry, they are looking to continue their success and build their team with ambitious talent. They have just over 60 employees who are gaining valuable experience every day and hoping to collaborate with another.Seeking a Project Developer to be responsible for:
  • Lead project development of utility scale solar assets from site origination through financial close/start of construction.
  • Site and permit facilities on agricultural land.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and purchase option agreements
  • Manage local community relationships through design and financing to secure additional support as needed for road use agreements, zoning support, and property tax incentives.
  • Manage internal and external resources (engineering, finance, legal, environmental, etc) to successfully develop projects.
  • Maintain an overview of the relevant business and competitive environment, including regulatory and environmental rules.

  • 3+ years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects - preferably thermal, solar, storage, and wind.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science or related field
  • Impressive track record and experience in development of renewable energy projects
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multi-task, make decisions, prioritize, and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to work and communicate effectively with a cross-functional internal team, vendors, consultants, various project stakeholders, authorities having legal control, utilities, state agencies etc.
Our client is an IPP that focus on utility scale thermal, solar, storage and wind projects. They cover projects nationwide throughout WECC, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, PJM, NYISO and ISO-New England.
