Location: HebbronvilleKey Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Medication Assistance: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and document medication administration accurately.
- Companionship: Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage in meaningful conversations to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed.
- Safety and Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health and well-being, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any concerns or issues to the care coordinator or nurse.
- Client-Centered Care: Provide personalized care that respects the dignity, preferences, and cultural backgrounds of each client.
- Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience as a CNA in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the lives of clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.
- Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the position).
