- Own and oversee spacecraft products, ensuring technical excellence.
- Blend traditional spacecraft design principles with commercial methodologies.
- Delve into technical details and adapt workflows as necessary.
- Mentor and empower junior engineers to aid in their technical growth.
- Collaborate closely with leadership across the Space Systems Business Group.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in developing high-reliability electronics.
- Experience in digital and analog mixed signal circuit design, including high-speed.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium.
- Experience in developing firmware for embedded systems such as microcontrollers and FPGAs.
- Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience in RF circuit design, analysis, and testing.
- Proficiency with 3D EM solvers such as CST Studio or Ansys HFSS.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI and RS-422.
- Experience in DC-DC switcher design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with PCB prototyping and rework.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Willingness to guide junior engineers.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced development environment.
