Type of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:
- Foster an industry leading plant safety record.
- Confirm compliance with all governmental safety and environmental regulations.
- Ensure that a proactive Preventative Maintenance Program is in place and is strictly enforced.
- Implement Predictive Maintenance tools and programs.
- Evaluate plant equipment and operations to find more effective methods and processes.
- Plan and execute large, complex capital projects.
- Develop Capital and MRO budgets.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Technical degree in related field specializing in mechanical and/or electrical systems; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production and / or maintenance supervisory capacity
- Specific experience within a complex, industrial manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- A thorough understanding of the function, design, and operation of compound mechanical movements, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, electronic systems, and electrical components
- Skilled with PLCs and industrial controls; high and low voltage electrical systems; hydraulics; overhead cranes.
- Excellent supervisory skills and the ability to communicate well with all levels of employees
