The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment. Working collaboratively, the new leader will contribute to operational excellence by implementing preventative maintenance programs and fostering a culture of safety while supporting both internal and external customer needs at the highest standard.Salary + Additional Benefits:

Location: Indiana
Type of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:
  • Foster an industry leading plant safety record.
  • Confirm compliance with all governmental safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure that a proactive Preventative Maintenance Program is in place and is strictly enforced.
  • Implement Predictive Maintenance tools and programs.
  • Evaluate plant equipment and operations to find more effective methods and processes.
  • Plan and execute large, complex capital projects.
  • Develop Capital and MRO budgets.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree in related field specializing in mechanical and/or electrical systems; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production and / or maintenance supervisory capacity
  • Specific experience within a complex, industrial manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • A thorough understanding of the function, design, and operation of compound mechanical movements, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, electronic systems, and electrical components
  • Skilled with PLCs and industrial controls; high and low voltage electrical systems; hydraulics; overhead cranes.
  • Excellent supervisory skills and the ability to communicate well with all levels of employees
  • Outstanding written, oral communications, administrative, and data entry skills
  • Exceptional people, supervisory, and problem-solving skills
