
Mechanical Engineer

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for simulation and training equipment.
- Generate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Conduct performance analysis and support prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement.
- Prepare and interpret mechanical diagrams.
- Source and integrate COTS hardware and components into larger system builds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering and design experience.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (experience with CATIA or AutoCAD a plus).
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and tolerance analysis.
- Ability to travel occasionally (domestic/international).
- Comfortable with hands-on work, including use of hand tools and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Experience in new product development.
- Knowledge in sheet metal design.
- Knowledge in aerospace engineering.
