- Inventory Control & Accuracy: Maintain precise, real-time records of all inventory items, including incoming materials, outgoing products, and supplies. Ensure data accuracy in all systems.
- Inventory Monitoring & Replenishment: Regularly review inventory levels, identify potential shortages or overstock situations, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment.
- Physical Inventory Count & Reconciliation: Conduct scheduled physical counts, reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system data, and investigate causes of variances.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively with purchasing, logistics, production, and sales teams to optimize inventory processes and support overall operational efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze inventory data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain an organized workspace.
- Effective Communication: Clear communicator capable of working with diverse teams and external suppliers.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with inventory management software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry tools.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to assist team members as needed.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and production schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or technical certification in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or related roles.
- Experience working with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory calculations and data entry accuracy.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Work involves exposure to warehouse environmental factors such as noise, dust, and temperature variations.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks is a plus.
- Must adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to meet production deadlines.
