- Gather information and prepare documentation associated with employee relations issues. Work with people managers to prepare appropriate progressive discipline documentation. Track and store appropriate actions and documentation. Under the Employee Relations Head you will conduct workplace investigations on claims of harassment, discrimination and compliance related matters. Investigations include a development of an investigation plan, conducting interview(s), compiling documentation and notes, formulating finding(s), conclusion(s) and recommendation(s). Work with legal counsel and compliance as needed.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and assistance to management to address an array of employee conduct and performance issues and grievances with fluctuating levels of complexity while keeping HRBP's informed of the status, recommendations, and diagnosis of trends that may need attention. Work with managers on drafting performance management documentation. Also, participate in progressive discipline, performance management and reduction in force meetings to ensure clarity of message delivered to employee.
- Manage the interactive process under the American with Disabilities Act.
- Contribute to ER best practice education and policy development and provide counsel and guidance to manager and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Work closely with Leave of Absence, Occupational Health, Security, Information Security, Legal and Compliance to ensure cross collaboration on employee relations matters.
- This is a hybrid position - Massachusetts, California or Georgia preferred.
- The Employee Relations Partner will advise and make recommendations on most employee relations matters and will be expected to consult with the appropriate partners on complex ER matters to limit risk or exposure. Interaction

- Bachelor's degree; qualification in Human Resource Management is preferred plus a minimum of 7 years' experience in HR/Employee Relations.
- Experience with Employee Relations in a diverse environment (exempt and nonexempt workforce) is preferred.
- Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing or scientific industry preferred.
- You will also have familiarity and comfort with state and federal employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- You must have strong interpersonal skills, conflict management skills, diagnostic skills and the ability to manage a high volume of cases.
