OverviewGallagher Bassett is seeking a seasoned and strategic business development leader to join our expanding Carrier Practice team. This role is focused on driving growth across the specialty property & casualty insurance market by cultivating high-impact relationships with insurance carriers, MGAs, and program administrators. The successful candidate will bring deep industry expertise, a strong network of decision-makers, and a track record of delivering revenue through consultative, solution-based selling.This is a remote senior-level opportunity to shape market strategy, open new channels, and contribute meaningfully to GB’s continued expansion in the carrier ecosystem.
How you'll make an impactMarket Expansion
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted markets, products, and lines of coverage.
- Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with carriers, program administrators, agents, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and a seamless experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and business development objectives.
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and solution narratives tailored to client needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment between client solutions and GB’s operational capabilities.
- Share market intelligence and client feedback to support service innovation and strategic planning.
- Partner with senior leadership to define and execute long-term business development objectives.
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
- Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM.
- 10+ years of sales experience in the specialty market
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets
- Self-motivated, with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Act independently with minimal direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
