Role SummaryResponsible for planning and implementing torque-specific requirements for new vehicle programs as subject matter expert. Handling all for torque-related equipment and processes, tool Selection, set up and validation, torque technical support, problem-solving assistance, and process improvement initiatives while upholding Rivian's standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing Engineering Team to Identify tool and validate their application virtually
- Develop and maintain all torque related planning documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, quality standards, and internal deliverables.
- Monitor and report on Key Process Indicators and Key Activities Indicators that drive the torque department from the Residual and Tooling toque side.
- Collaborate with other areas to coordinate workflow, prioritize activities, resolve issues, and implement process improvements related to the torque tooling and quality torque performance
- Maintain a high-quality relationship with all departments within the organization.
- Lead teams to address, guide, and support torque-related issues using problem-solving methodologies.
- Assist in creating torque-specific documentation related to standardized work, training material, lessons learned, troubleshooting guides, etc.
- Overall maintenance of the torque databases used by the department in conjunction with the Supplier.
- Support and participate in Launch and line rebalance activities.
- For new product launches lead and follow the plant-specific Master List for all torque equipment.
- Assist corporate and local teams in completing launch-specific activities – User Acceptance Testing (Residual Torque), Static Correlation Studies (Cp/Cpk), and developing baseline angle monitoring.
- Understand customer requirements and be able to train local teams to requirements.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

- 5 + years of experience
