We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions of our construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role requires expertise in construction accounting principles, proficiency in relevant software, and organizational skills. MUST BE LOCATED IN JAX, FL MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS EXPEREINCE AS A FC BOOKKEEPER IN BLUE COLLAR INDUSTRYsalary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

education: BachelorsResponsibilitiesFinancial Management:
  • Manage all aspects of construction project accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure projects are on track financially.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial data to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management review.
  • Journal entries, managing a general ledger, month-end procedures
Payroll Processing:
  • Process payroll for construction staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Calculate and track employee hours, overtime, and benefits.
  • Prepare and file payroll tax returns and other related documents.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reconciliation.
  • Generate invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
