- Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test software for a factory/production environment which exercises and analyzes hardware deliverable products.
- Support cradle to grave efforts including requirements, design, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance for all test software activities.
- Prioritize, handle, and lead multiple tasks in a production environment.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware for test equipment development.
- Communication with an engineering team, functional and program leadership.
- Typically requires a Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years of prior engineering or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Must have experience supporting automated test stations or systems
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with software applications using C, C++, C#, NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or other test software programming languages.
- Strong technical writing skills and an ability to collaborate with a cross functional team of professionals.
- Ability to interface ATE test software with laboratory and production tests instrumentation such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and/or direct current power supplies.
- Knowledge of software Configuration Management environments such as Git/Github/Subversion
- Experience with file transfer protocol (FTP) and data transfer between Unit Under Test and test set computer for Software/Firmware loading as well as data captures.
