Key Responsibilities:Post journal, payroll entries, and daily General Ledger transactions
Coordinate with purchasing, AP, billing for reporting
Assist with monthly close, financial statement prep
Scan, attach documents in systems
Process AP batches, daily cash receipts
Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations, audits, 1099 prep, supply ordering, and record scanning/filing.Essential Skills and Abilities:Proficient in bookkeeping practices, able to train others
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and accounting softwareQualifications:Requires a high school diploma.
One to three years' experience in applying online accounting and financial reporting software and
Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word and Access) to prepare or maintain financial/statistical worksheets.
Ability to prepare journal entries to record significant financial transactions in the General Ledger, summarize financial information to support year-end audit and other specialized data requests, and applying sound accounting judgment in the reporting of financial transaction consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)SALARY & BENEFITSCompetitive Salary $18.25/hr plus, depending upon education and experience
