This individual leads the health system for government and commercial reimbursement to oversee expected payor analysis and government reimbursement involving Medicare cost report preparation, filing, and analysis. The Manager-Reimbursement & Payor Analysis serves as finance team leader and liaison for payor and value based purchasing project committees and health plan capitation arrangements.Remote opportunity in the upper Midwest may be available.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, healthcare management or related field.Preferred/Optional: Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.EXPERIENCEMinimum Required: Eight years’ experience in healthcare reimbursement and financial analysis. Five years’ management experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data interfaces.Preferred/Optional: Five years management experience within a healthcare setting in accounting or finance.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.Minimum Required: NonePreferred/Optional: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) awarded by State of Wisconsin.
