Howden's core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling, and have over a century of experiences in doing so.We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist/Machine Operator based at our Windsor, CT location.What Will You Do?o Perform tests and troubleshoot performance, leaks and aesthetics of all Spencer blower and vacuum products.
o Maintain documentation as per established quality standards and engineering test specification.
o Perform trim balance.
o Work with a variety of calibrated gauges not limited to vibration meters, temperature probes, volt, and amp meters.
o Set up and break down of test fixtures using hoists, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
o Work with variable frequency drives.
  • Set up and operation of fabricating machines, such as shears,
  • Brakes, rollers, saws, seam welder, plasma cutter and punch press.
  • Verifies conformance of work pieces to specification, using square, ruler and measuring tape.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
  • Wear proper PPE for the job
  • Standing long periods of time
  • Able to lift 30lbs min
  • 20/20 vision
Your Experience Should Be...
  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to pass Drug Screening
  • Current and valid certification a plus
  • Ability to work overtime if needed.
