- Install, align, maintain, and enhance both conventional and CNC machinery.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions, with capabilities to rebuild and overhaul machine assemblies.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in handling Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Ability to interpret Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical schematics.
- Lead collaborative repair projects with various trades and operations.
- Adhere to National Electric Code for electrical wiring and panel maintenance.
- Systematic troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.
- Draft preliminary electrical schematics.
- Procure necessary parts and supplies in an efficient manner.
- Estimate resources needed for jobs, in terms of labor hours and materials.
- Participate in diverse facility maintenance activities such as equipment installation, facility repairs, and upkeep tasks.
- Follow all company policies and quality procedures.
- Prefer holding a Connecticut E2 license; an associate degree, certification, or relevant military background will be favorably considered.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Experience with CNC machinery a must.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to read detailed schematics and engineering prints.
- Understanding and resolving machine alarms.
- Skillful operation of hoists, forklifts, and lifts.
- Fluency in English is vital.
- Knowledge of PLC controls, ladder logic, and related equipment favored.
- Ability to safely lift 35 lbs.
- Capable of prolonged standing, kneeling, sitting, or laying to perform necessary tasks.
