Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceMust have one of the following:
- QP (Qualified Professional), CDAC (Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor),
- CDAC-I (Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor - Intern),
- CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) licensure,
- Provisional licensed LCAS-A (Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist), or
- LCSW-A (Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate).

Special Physical/Mental RequirementsMust be able to ascend/descend stairs with or without accommodation.
