Job Title: Controls Engineer Job DescriptionThe Controls Engineer I is responsible for supporting all phases of a controls project. This includes assistance in concept and research, estimating support, component selection, network design, panel design, layout, device troubleshooting, PLC and HMI programming, on-site installation and debugging, and after-sales support. The role operates under an established set of guidelines.Responsibilities
Understand AC/DC control systems with the ability to read component cut sheets.
Assist and support the process for designing and delivering successful control systems.
Support in designing and developing layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power and control distribution.
Assist in the production of detailed schematics.
Support the Systems Checklist for projects during field installation and startup.
Develop electrical diagrams efficiently and locate and correct mistakes in electrical diagrams by themselves and others.

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
1-3 years of experience in the field or controls engineering.
Basic knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes such as UL508a, NEC, and NFPA.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical capabilities.
Understanding of VFDs, servos, sensors, and vision systems.
Material handling expertise.
Work EnvironmentThe role is office-based when not in the field, with the expectation of travel 50% or more of the time, following a 10-4 rotation schedule.
