Our workforce of more than 25,000 has pre-eminent expertise in advanced aircraft design and production, modification and support, stealth technology and systems integration.This position is for a Mission Assurance Cyber Systems Security Engineering Senior Manager supporting Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Line of Business and Skunk Works/Advanced Development Programs (ADP) for the LM's Aeronautics Business Area. This position requires excellent technical leadership skills. Candidate must possess experience and initiative to ensure technical leadership and support is provided for the development process. Applicant must be a proven problem solver who can multi-task in a complex interrelated environment.The candidate leads a team that designs, develops, and oversees anti-tamper (AT) system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. Manages the team which is the focal point for the development and communication of the AT architecture, Critical Program Information (CPI) identification, Consequence of Compromise (CoC) for CPI determination, and Attack/Countermeasure Tree development. Ensures conversion of AT requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Leads the team that develops AT systems and AT system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.). Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Ensures the team develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. Prepares/approves proposal inputs.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage the engagement of architecture definition, technology development and insertion, and technical trades with an emphasis on security, commonality, best practices, and value.
  • Ensure that Command Media is followed and that designs are compliant to design standards and contractual requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Program Engineers, Suppliers and government customers.
  • Ensure engagement of engineering resources to resolve anomalies and technical issues.
  • Ensure development activities, accomplishments, and issues are communicated to the Mission Assurance Senior Manager and Director.
The successful candidate will report to the Mission Assurance Senior Manager and be expected to work closely with the other members of the Mission Assurance staff to ensure synergy across the Aero portfolio.
Candidate will also have the ability to travel to Lockheed Martin facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities.** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. **What's In It For You

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering/Technical Discipline.
  • Experience planning and leading the technical efforts associated with program capture and development efforts.
  • Experience communicating technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership, and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
  • Familiarity with system security engineering.
  • EVMS or CAM Experience
  • Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Access Program Clearance.
