Job Description:K & R Truck Sales is a locally owned group of companies dedicated to providing top-notch full-service truck dealership services. With five locations in West Michigan, our reach extends far beyond Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. We offer comprehensive support, including flexible financing, leasing/rentals, emergency/full service, and multiple body shops. We are looking to hire a Class A Heavy Tow Truck Operator to join our team. This role is crucial in providing timely and professional towing services, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Operate heavy-duty tow trucks to assist vehicles in various situations, including winching out of ditches and upright roll-over vehicles.
Tow vehicles to repair facilities or storage lots as needed.
Respond to dispatch calls promptly and provide professional and courteous service to customers.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls, ensuring a response time within 20 minutes for 911 calls.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
CDL Class A Driver's License.
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Strong work ethic and outstanding customer service skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation in addition to regular shifts.
