Key Job Details Vermont CNA Travel Assignment
- Location: Middlebury, VT 05753 (Vermont healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Hospital Long-Term Care Unit (Otter Creek East & West)
- Employment Type: Travel CNA (locum tenens)
- Assignment Duration: 6 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 End: 10/19/2025)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1240-$1330
- Floating: Required to Memory Care and Post-Acute units as needed
- Epic EMR Experience: Required within the last 2 years
- Holiday Coverage: Must be able to work all holidays
- Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation access)
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (Vermont CNA license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of long-term care or hospital CNA experience
- Prior travel CNA or healthcare contract experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years (mandatory)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Dementia Capable Care certification preferred
- Must not be allergic to cats (cat present on unit)
- Ability to float to memory care and post-acute units as needed
- Complete work history required for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type, and explanation of employment gaps over 90 days)
- Reliable transportation (personal or rental vehicle required)
- Deliver compassionate patient care to long-term care residents aged 60+
- Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Accurately document care provided using Epic EMR system
- Float to memory care and post-acute units as assigned
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality clinical support
- Work scheduled holidays as required
