- Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to meet client needs.
- Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques.
- Record and document client behavior and progress with the tools and systems provided.
- Support clients in building skills related to communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living.
- Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting client engagement and autonomy.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency in implementing plans across settings.
- Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, providing updates and sharing important information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices and techniques.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement intervention plans accurately, and document data consistently.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients’ homes, schools, and community settings.
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and fostering an inclusive and positive environment.
- Patience, empathy, and dedication to helping individuals with developmental disabilities succeed.
- Competitive starting pay ranging from $23-$28 per hour.
