- This role is responsible for deploying culture workshops, trainings and programs that better enable organizational retention and development across all 30,000 employees, with a focus on Leadership Development
- The role is a partner for content and strategic planning of local leadership retreats and large meetings for alignment and capability building of local leadership teams
- In addition, the role is a liaison for the COE Talent team to support talent initiatives, including but not limited to talent review and talent development programs, coordinate efforts for the Emory Healthcare employee survey and any on-demand capability building and development requests from our operations
- The role reports to the Vice President Talent, Learning and Culture with a matrix reporting relationship to the Vice Presidents Human Resources for their assigned groups
- The role is responsible for deploying learning, talent and employee experience initiatives inside Divisions, Functions and Service Lines, including supporting the various business leaders, physician leaders and HR business partners in their unique talent & learning agendas, leadership retreats and on-demand training delivery
- Culture
- Support culture workshops as part of cascading Emory Healthcare's recently defined culture model and framework
- Train and support other workshop facilitators and culture champions to deliver the content and use the tools
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to build local deployment strategies and coordinate training schedule for workshop sessions
- Partner with local communications teams to include culture updates, content and recognition in local communication channels and platforms
- Coach leaders and team members on how to demonstrate the Emory Healthcare culture and be role models for others
- Learning & Development
- Responsible for partnering across Emory Healthcare (EHC) to identify their unique learning & development needs and deliver effective training content
- Training Design: Support the design of customized trainings, workshops and leadership retreats to support divisions, functions and service lines based on needs analysis
- Advanced Facilitation: Facilitate high quality on-demand trainings and workshops inside divisions, functions and service lines using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, videos and platforms to support virtual and in-person learning
- Partners with other system level talent & learning colleagues to deliver on-demand trainings/retreats as identified
- Facilitates nominations into system-level leadership programs, as well as supports follow-up / coaching for those who attend as they return back to their divisions, functions and service lines
- Facilitates into COE deliver training programs for content as identified
- Works closely with COE and HR Business Partners to build local audit and communication methods for regulatory and other required eLearnings
- Maintains professional growth by participating in educational programs and professional organizations and activities to maintain a knowledge of national trends and to promote leading edge performance and expertise within the department
- Talent Management & Performance Management
- Supports enhancing system-wide Performance Management trainings and other performance projects
- Works closely with COE and HR Business Partners to build local reporting, calibration and communication methods for key performance processes
- Support deployment and execution of talent initiatives including but not limited to talent assessments and workforce development programs
- May support identified Talent Development initiatives as needed including but not limited to facilitating New Leader Accelerations and culture enhancing programs, supporting mentoring programs, and running listening sessions
- Provide guidance and facilitate local completion of talent review process to roll up at system level, support action planning and follow-up items from talent review
- Provides coaching on assessment generated reports to identified coachees (including but not limited to 360s)
- Employee Experience
- Partner closely with Program Director Employee Experience and HR Business partners to support the full cycle employee surveys including preparation, driving participation, results cascading and action planning
- Support programs and initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement and sense of belonging
- Support local recognition for talent including nominations for awards, communications and stories
- Travel: Travel between Operating Units and Emory Affiliated Locations
- Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office
- Education - Bachelor's degree i in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field
- Experience - 8 years minimum in related field or experience in lieu of degree
- Strong experience partnering with HR business partners and operating in a matrix organization
- Strong project management skills; organized and detail-oriented; Ability to independently manage, own and execute projects, escalating with questions and concerns as needed
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (high proficiency with PPT, intermediate proficiency with Excel)
- Expert facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a variety of audiences
- Strong communication skills; ability to work with all levels of talent including Executive Leaders
- Tolerance for ambiguity balanced with the ability to organize and deploy practical solutions
- Customer centricity focus and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Innovative thinking and proven ability to research innovative learning and development practices and tools to continuously enrich and enhance Emory Healthcare talent, learning and employee experience practices

- Ability to independently manage, own and execute projects, escalating with questions and concerns as needed
- Master's Degree in business, English, history or Poly-Sci or related field
- Experience - 10 years minimum experience with at least 5 years in a management position
