We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist with manufacturing experience for an AC/Climate controlled opportunity in south Houston. (long term/ full-time position.)
  • Day and night shift is available, hiring immediately
Do you have CNC Machine Operation and programming experience? We want to talk with you!As a CNC machinists, you will work with CNC machinery to create tools and parts from metal, plastic and other materials. Some choose to specialize in a specific type of machinery, such as milling machines, while others work with a variety of different machines. We are looking for CNC Machinists with at minimum 1 year of Manufacturing CNC experience.CNC Manufacturing role overview:
  • Adhering to all engineering manufacturing operator instruction.
  • Performing machine set ups on CNC, manual lathes, CNC lathes, CNC mills, and scale for all programs and part types including production and/or engineering parts.
  • Performing typical machine shop operations to support the assembly floor.
  • Maintaining LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing quality standards
  • Performing preventative maintenance on machines
  • Regular quality checks machine for damage or wear.
Experience Expectations (vary per role)
  • Machining experience CNC machine setup and operation (aprox. experience levels)
  • 2+ Years for CNC Machinist Level I
  • 3-5 years for CNC Machinist Level II
  • 5+ CNC Level Machinist III
  • CNC Lead 2+ years of Lead experience
  • Familiarity with CNC programming/languages and knowledge of how to create and edit programs (CNC Fanuc and Mazatrol).
  • Experience with G-code instructions to a machine controller lathe or
and experience on Mazak machines and the ability to edit G-code machine instructions when needed. * Experience with Hass and Fanuc controls. of Renishaw probes on mills is preferred,
  • Extensive experience on 4 and 5 axis mills.
  • Extensive experience on 3 axis lathe.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Experience with close tolerances; tenths indicators.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to regularly stand, reach and move about the facility.
  • Math skills and ability to use handheld measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings for all job orders, processes, and programs.
  • Knowledge of all gauging required, including CMM.
  • Ability to verify gage calibration.
  • Knowledge of machine fixturing for all set ups.
  • Knowledge of all tooling, its name and function
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
  • Knowledge of machine safety and proper maintenance.
