ONSITEJob Description:Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Controlled Environments Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in connecting field operations with higher management, ensuring efficient workflow, fostering team development, upholding safety standards, and providing essential services in pharmacy clean rooms, Laboratories, and other industries specific spaces.Responsibilities:Communication and Reporting:
  • Provide regular updates to the National Director and National Manager on regional status.
  • Conduct Weekly or Bi-Weekly Team meetings to facilitate effective communication.
Workflow Management:
  • Ensure optimal technician coverage for all jobs.
  • Monitor technician performance and make timely interventions or reassignments.
  • Collaborate with schedule coordinators to plan and prepare for large projects.
Performance Evaluation and Development:
  • Regularly assess team members'performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Utilize the Training Matrix for comprehensive technician development.
  • Promote and uphold quality and professional behavior within the team.
Customer Satisfaction:
  • Follow up on repairs and address customer issues promptly.
  • Escalate customer issues to higher management when necessary.
Conflict Resolution and Coordination:
  • Mediate and resolve disputes between team members.
  • Coordinate between sales and schedule coordinators for seamless operations.
Team Engagement and Development:
  • Travel and work with technicians routinely to validate job performance.
  • Identify and address training opportunities and needs.
  • Train and retrain technicians as directed by leadership. Perform ride-along with technicians to visually assess skills.
  • Responsible for assisting Sales Representatives so that they have a good understanding of the work that Controlled Environment Technicians perform.
Safety:
  • Correct unsafe work practices or behaviors.
  • Investigate accidents thoroughly and implement preventive measures.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions to reinforce awareness.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Wear proper safety garments.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide thorough and accurate verifications and certifications of pharmacy clean rooms Laboratories, and other industries specific spaces.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, and repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on facilities, clean rooms, and equipment.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to the proper supervisor.
  • Utilization of Training Matrix to document current progress of new hire technicians, as well as up-to-date status on progression.
  • Review all current SOP and revise/develop as needed to set standards for training.
  • Develop a training plan per technician using the training matrix to ensure all technicians are trained and have acquired the skill sets to perform the job to client standards.
  • Consult/assist in sales, as necessary.
  • Pass along leads to the respective Sales Representative when received.
  • Travel as needed to certify and perform repairs for customers.
  • Utilize Field Aware system for job scheduling, job tracking, and time reporting.
  • Utilize MS Excel for mathematical computations for customer reporting.
Qualifications:
  • CETA, NEBB, or NSF certification preferred, but not required at the start of the position.
  • Will obtain industry certifications during the course of employment (within 2-3 yrs).
  • Background in air balancing, biomedical, pharmaceutical, HVAC, environmental testing, and clean rooms strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Field Service Technician, 3-5 years preferred.
  • Strong mathematical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude required.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, passion for quality and accuracy.
  • Highly organized, exceptional customer service skills, and professional appearance and behavior.
  • Ability to travel, work flexible hours, and adjust the schedule as required to meet customer needs.
  • Travel up to 75% with possible overnight stays.
