- Assist in designing roadways, streetscapes, and multimodal improvements under the supervision of a licensed Engineer (PE).
- Perform analysis and design involving interstates, urban and rural roadways, and traffic engineering.
- Prepare programming, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with design team members to ensure integration of transportation design with other project disciplines.
- Prepare marketing and presentation materials as directed.
- Provide transportation services during the bidding and construction phases, including site visits and document preparation.
- Comply with quality control policies and participate in team meetings.
- Research standards and specifications based on project requirements.
- Develop schematic-level layout and grading plans for projects of low to moderate complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in transportation engineering, focusing on roadway design and associated infrastructure.
- Proficiency in design and production software, including Microstation, Microstation Inroads, and Microstation OpenRoads.
- Experience with stormwater management design, traffic design, and transportation engineering.
- Client-oriented attitude with a desire to provide outstanding professional services.
- PE license and EIT certification are desirable.
