Role description: The Regional IT Director is responsible for leading and managing the IT operations within a specific geographical region. This role ensures the alignment of IT strategy with business objectives, drives technological innovation, and oversees the delivery of IT services to support operational excellence.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement regional IT strategies in alignment with global IT policies and business goals
Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT systems and infrastructure within the region
Manage and support a team of IT professionals, fostering collaboration, growth, and accountability
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and deliver effective technology solutions
Ensure the security and integrity of regional IT systems and data
Manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and value for investment
Oversee regional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Promote innovation and support continuous improvement in IT processes and solutions
Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for IT escalations and critical incidents within the region
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within a regional or multi-site environment
Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and software applications
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Budget management and financial acumen
Knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards
Experience in managing IT projects and driving technology-driven business transformations
Up to 25% travel
Preferred skills / qualifications:
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior experience within the manufacturing industry

This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on company meeting or exceeding targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois.
