- Administer aesthetic injections, including neurotoxins and biostimulators.
- Perform lab draws and provide IV therapy.
- Initiate appropriate preventive nursing interventions.
- Deliver care and perform procedures in alignment with nursing standards and established protocols, maintaining ongoing clinical competency.
- Continuously assess patient conditions, update documentation and care plans, and communicate significant changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with the Functional Medicine provider, Aesthetician, and clinic staff to deliver integrated, patient-centered wellness and functional medicine care.
- Educate and counsel patients on care plans, medications, and potential complications using appropriate materials.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in continuing education, team trainings, committees, and relevant promotional events.
- Stay informed on trends and advancements in wellness and functional medicine.
- Communicate educational or training needs to the Medical Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current BLS certification and valid health clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa settings preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience with injectable treatments, strong knowledge of facial anatomy, and injection safety; certification in neurotoxins and/or laser treatments preferred.
- Experience with biostimulators, neuromodulators, PRP therapy, or microneedling is a plus—or willingness to achieve competency within a defined timeframe.
- Proficient in IV placement.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to medical protocols and ethics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in maintaining detailed clinical records.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g. Nextech) and basic computer skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with wellness clinic standards.
- Clinic environment with prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and repetitive movement. May involve bending, kneeling, or lifting up to 25 lbs. to support treatment preparation. Exposure to clinical products is expected. Schedule may require work in excess of standard hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs. Must be comfortable working in both traditional and holistic medical environments, supporting integrative care models.
- Internally with clinic staff and various Moda departments. Externally with patients, clients, vendors, and product representatives.
