- Safely operate and maneuver various types of trailers and vehicles on company premises, local roads and on occasion, across state lines, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Spot various types of trailers and vehicles into production area.
- Maintain the vehicles in good condition, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with shop personnel to support production activities, as directed by supervision.
- Adhere to safety guidelines in the production shop, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of tools and machinery.
- Coordinate transportation activities with production schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Participate in any additional training relevant to the dual nature of the role.
- Follows verbal instruction and completes assigned tasks given by Team Leads and/or other departmental supervision.
- Reads blueprints or written instructions then prepare construction materials to build structures.
- Communicates suggestions, solutions, and other ideas on workplace efficiencies to Team Leads, Supervisors, Engineers, and Peers, as necessary.
- Unload and carry materials to construction sites.
- Maintains a tidy work environment with focus on workplace safety.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experienced Class A CDL driver with airbrakes certification with at least 1 or more years of manual transmission driving experience.
- 1 - 4 years of experience in mechanical trade, maintenance, carpentry, and/or construction.
- Must maintain necessary CDL certifications and required endorsements ensuring they are up-to-date and in good standing.
- Must be able to display mechanical aptitude and use basic hand tools such as a tape measure, level, drill, etc...
- Knowledge of basic construction principles and methods.
- Ensure compliance with a safety and quality mindset.
- Ability to work successfully within a team and as an individual contributor.
- Must effectively communicate and present interpretations of work.
- Must be able to use and maintain workplace equipment.
- Displays initiative learn and to take on more responsibilities.

- Be flexible and adaptable to the dynamic nature of the role, as tasks may vary between driving and supporting production based on organizational needs.
- Must demonstrate a consistent and stable work history, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Trade school or work-related experience.
- Prior experience in the welding, fabrication, hydraulics, carpentry, autobody repair, HVAC or electrical.
- Physically able to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
- Must have the ability to hear and respond to auditory signals, distinguish tones and pitches in equipment, and use hearing protection during specific tasks.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
- Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
- Ability to ascend/descend on a ladder and work atop scaffolding.
- Onsite, local and across state line travel may be required. (Up to 10%)
