- Work alongside senior team members to investigate damaged or deteriorating buildings and structures - like being a detective for architecture and engineering
- Help develop repair and restoration plans for structures made of wood, masonry, concrete, and steel - bringing old buildings back to life
- Contribute to technical reports that document findings and solutions—sharpening your writing and analysis skills
- Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to create digital drawings and models that support investigations and repairs
- Other tasks as needed to support the team
- Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related program with a focus on Civil Engineering
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel between job sites
- AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic, good communication skills, and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability/Willingness to climb ladders and scaffolding, work from heights, walk roofs, access crawl spaces and other areas of limited accessibility
