In this role, you'll be responsible for operating skid steer equipment to support site preparation, grading, asphalt and concrete work, and general maintenance activities.   • • Safely operate skid steer machinery to perform excavation, grading, backfilling, and material movement.
  • Transport and load/unload materials and equipment as directed.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on skid steer equipment.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safety of team and equipment.
  • Assist crew members with general labor tasks when not operating equipment.
  • Follow all company, state, and federal safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate site operations.
What skills & experience you'll bring to us
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating skid steer machinery in a construction or paving environment.
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of skid steer attachments and their safe use.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate depends on project location.
