- Client & Team Relations: Demonstrate professionalism and dedication, providing exceptional service to both clients and teammates, while fostering positive relationships
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive replacement plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures to ensure smooth project execution
- Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of the replacement program, coordinate tasks of engineers and contractors, and maintain budget and schedule
- Scheduling & Financial Management: Oversee project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and manage the financial health of projects, ensuring timely reporting and performance tracking
- Resource Management: Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables, while supporting internal standards and resource management
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with equipment vendors, manage procurement process, coordinate between engineers/contractors and the vendor
- Client Business Development: Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities
- Contract & Project Oversight: Plan, implement, and supervise client/vendor contracts, ensuring successful project execution, while traveling to client facilities as needed
- Typically requires 6+ years of experience in a technical industry as a project manager or construction manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar OR PMP Certification and 10 years applicable experience
- Knowledge of Data Center systems and equipment
- Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
- Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
- Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
- Strong coordination and team building skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
- Ability to read and write technically and coherently
- Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel between 10%-15% of the time which may include fieldwork; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
