- 3 or more years of participation in the hiring process of screening and selecting qualified candidates.
- 3 or more years of experience in human resources generalist functions.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with employee leave of absence and associated laws and regulations, benefits, and payroll in order to provide relief/fill-in coverage in these areas.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good judgement and anticipating needs, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification

- Support strategic initiatives - collaborate cross-functionally on projects such as workforce planning, or leadership development programs that drive business performance and employee satisfaction.
- End the day with a pulse check - wrap up by reviewing key HR metrics, tracking progress on open roles, engagement levels, and identifying any areas that need proactive attention.
