- Lead hardware strategy, architecture, and planning for new and existing products.
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams in new product development and sustaining engineering.
- Design and develop PCBA-based hardware for products using optical, electrochemical, and wireless/wired communication technologies.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware/firmware integration.
- Conduct schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, and risk analysis (e.g., DFMEA).
- Support verification, validation, and root cause analysis for product quality.
- Drive Agile hardware development processes and contribute to roadmap planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years in PCBA design.
- Strong experience with microcontrollers (MCUs).
- Expertise in analog circuit design.
- Embedded programming experience.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT).
- Proven track record of leading hardware development from concept to launch.
- Familiarity with regulated industries (medical, automotive, industrial safety).
- Agile development experience and strong documentation skills.
