Our client is looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. While banking or accounting experience is a plus, it is not required.This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the accounting department, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of accounting functions. If you are detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Perform revenue and miscellaneous reconciliationsComplete trust account reconciliations, including researching and clearing top sheetsManage incoming email requests from the accounting departmentProcess accounts payable transactionsConduct remote deposit transactionsIndex daily bookkeeping and miscellaneous itemsAssist with other accounting tasks as neededQualifications:1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office administrationProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSolid math and analytical skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlinesBanking or accounting experience preferred, but not required
