- Accurately enter and update data related to broker submissions in our underwriting systems, applying a precise and detail-oriented approach from intake to final documentation.
- Reviewing and verifying underwriting documents, quotes, policies, and binders for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that even minor inconsistencies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Ensuring data consistency across various platforms and systems within the organization, collaborating proactively with underwriting and operational teams to keep records organized and up to date.
- Assisting underwriters in preparing and issuing insurance documents by staying flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.
- Collaborating with broker partners to gather necessary documentation and clarify information as needed, maintaining meticulous records and structured processes to support swift follow-through.
- Maintaining well-organized records of all underwriting documents, leveraging strong documentation expertise to create clear, accessible reference materials across all organization functions.
- Supporting the underwriting team in achieving compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, demonstrating a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and fulfilling regulatory requirements.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and a degree in business administration, finance, or a related field are preferred.
- Possess excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring no aspect of underwriting documentation is overlooked.
- Have prior experience in an administrative or support role (preferably in insurance), showcasing an ability to prioritize tasks effectively without becoming overwhelmed.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities, adapting quickly to evolving deadlines rather than depending solely on rigid processes.
- Show proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat and are comfortable learning and documenting new systems or software as needed.
- Work well independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and partners to maintain seamless workflows and uphold high standards.
- Communicate clearly, written and verbally, ensuring transparent information exchanges with brokers and underwriters.
- Remain enthusiastic and engaged, embracing a dynamic work environment and addressing challenges promptly.
