Please make sure that you are reading the job description in its entirety to align your documents and relevant information with the requirements.POSITION SUMMARY:The HR Analyst I – Data & Performance is responsible for supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing the district’s comprehensive district-wide performance management system for instructional and non-instructional staff. This position reports to the HR Manager for Pre-Employment and Onboarding.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of a comprehensive district-wide performance management system as it relates to instructional and non-instructional staff. Creates and maintains supporting performance management materials relative to evaluation systems/processes. Maintains platforms used to support various evaluation instruments. Improves understanding of performance management and data analysis across schools and other departments; provides training, and support to departments and school staff.Works closely with relevant departments to create and conduct surveys (i.e. exit, stay, etc.), collect survey results data, monitor and evaluate survey progress and performance, and prepare summaries of analysis and recommendations. Researches and assimilates data from various detailed record sources for the development of analyses and reports. Supports, through ongoing collaboration, other processes that rely on evaluation-related data.Establishes tools and protocols for reporting employee performance regarding timeliness of evaluations, and reports inadequacies in completing evaluations based on state and local timelines.Provides support to building administrators and other supervisors regarding performance matters.All other duties, as assigned and required, in order to perform the above services.KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or related experience at a mid-professional level required.Prior experience coordinating within organizational departments; makes decisions and recommendations which affect the activities of others.Moderate level of judgment: supervisor is available to review established broad objectives; must approve general recommendations.Requires regular, frequent contact with external personnel of influence and decision-making responsibility to discuss issues of moderate importance; requires continuing contact with officials at higher levels. Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with inter-organizational teams.Requires excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Applies, recommends and implements technology concepts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of District.Normal office setting.Light duty - On most occasions sitting at a desk or table; intermittently sitting, standing, or stooping. Light lifting or carrying twenty (20) lbs. or less.NOTE: This is a grade 23, 225-day position.
